Shimano chain tension gauge TL-DUE60 for e-bikes with gear hubs

The TL-DUE60 chain tension gauge is a tool for checking the chain tension on Shimano e-bike drivetrains. It is used when a hub gear is installed. Measuring and adjusting the chain tension is possible with TL-DUE60 on both the top and the bottom of the chain. A piston integrated into the tool's housing serves as an indicator.

Application:

Measuring and adjusting at the top of the chain:
1. Place TL-DUE60 on the top of the chain.
2. Push the tool down so that it touches the chainring and sprocket at the back
3. Adjust the chain tension so that the piston of the tool is slightly pressed. It must not protrude from the tool's housing.

Measuring and adjusting on the underside of the chain:
1. Place TL-DUE60 on the underside of the chain.
2. Push the tool upwards so that it touches the rear chainring and sprocket.
3. Adjust the chain tension so that the piston of the tool is slightly pressed. Its flange must not sink into the recess of the tool housing.
