The Shimano Deore RD-T6000 rear derailleur is designed for touring bikes with a 10-speed drivetrain. It has a particularly flat profile, called " Shadow" , which was first used on MTB derailleurs. Together with the single pre-tensioning, this design ensures reduced susceptibility to defects even on rough ground, prevents chain slap and reduces the risk of snagging. As is usual for Shimano, the RD-T6000 also scores with constant, smooth and easy shifting. The steel rear derailleur cages are of the SGS type (long) and are designed for cassettes up to a maximum of 11-36.
