Shimano disc brake adapter for 160 mm rotors - adapts mounting standards

With the Shimano disc brake adapter for 160 mm brake rotors you can compensate for different standards of caliper and fork or frame. This means that a post mount brake caliper can be operated on an IS or flat mount fork or an IS or flat mount frame. There is also a version for adapting a PM brake to a PM frame, on which only 140 mm rotors can be mounted directly, and a version required to mount 160 mm rotors on flat mount rear brakes. A special feature are the versions " front FM 140/160 on FM 160" and " front FM 160/180 on FM 160" , which are mandatory for the operation of flat-mount brake calipers on the front wheel. The scope of delivery varies from version to version.
