Shimano Dura-Ace BR-R9170 Brake Caliper - Powerful, integrated braking performance

The Shimano Dura-Ace brake caliper BR-R9170 gives your road bike unprecedented braking power, even in demanding conditions such as rain-soaked descents. It has been equipped with Ice Technology, which, in combination with the compatible brake rotors and pads, ensures optimum heat management and thus lasting, well-controlled performance. One Way Bleeding lets you easily perform bleeding processes. In addition, the flat mount design of the ceramic piston brake caliper integrates perfectly into the overall look of your bike. An organic pad with cooling fins and a front adapter for 140 and 160 mm brake rotors (for front version) are included.

One Way Bleeding is a technique used on Shimano calipers that facilitates brake bleeding. The hose routing has been optimised so that no air bubbles remain in the brake calliper. In combination with the funnel, the brake can be bled cleanly and easily.
