The Shimano 11-speed Chainring for FC-RS510 Cranks

The Shimano FC-RS510 11-speed chainring has a bolt circle diameter of 110 mm with asymmetric holes. The 34-tooth version is made of aluminium, the 50-tooth chainring of an aluminium-resin composite. As usual with Shimano, these chainrings have been designed to work smoothly with the other drivetrain components.

The type designation (one or two characters) helps identify the compatibility of various chainrings with other chainrings. Because the larger chainrings have specially-formed teeth and upward shifting assistance, only particular smaller chainrings will match to ensure proper shifting performance.
