The Shimano G04Ti-MX brake pads have a metallic lining on a titanium backing plate without cooling fins. They are compatible with XTR brakes up to and including model M9000, with XT, SLX, Deore and some Road 2-piston disc brakes. Titanium plates have the advantage over steel plates of lower weight and better thermal insulation. In addition, the pads impress with top braking performance, outstanding durability and special fade resistance. They are also above average in terms of dosage. These features make the G04Ti-MX perfect for extreme use in sand and mud.
