The Shimano GRX BR-RX810 + ST-RX810 / BL-RX810 brake set (front + rear) is perfect for all 1x11-speed riders. On the right you mount the GRX ST-RX810 shift/brake lever, which stands for more control on mixed surfaces. Its lever and grip ergonomics were inspired by Gravel specialists from all over the world; the smooth shifts corresponds to that of previous Shimano top-level groupsets. The texture of the brake lever helps for more grip. The Shimano Servo Wave technology known from the MTB sector is also used.
The Shimano GRX BL-RX810 brake lever is for the left side. It also provides more bike control on mixed surfaces and when graveling. Its' comfortable lever and grip ergonomics were inspired by Gravel experts too.
The GRX BR-RX810 brake calipers with Ice Technology are responsible for perfect heat distribution. In addition, there is the simple one-way bleeding and the uncomplicated hose connection system. The design of the brake calipers is based on the flat-mount construction, which has proven itself in the Road cycling world over the last few years.

STI Dual Control
Shimano Total Integration (STI) means the combination of braking and shifting functions in one lever, which increases safety when riding. By refining the technology, it became possible to make shifting so smooth at the front and rear that they can be triggered with just one finger. Shimano calls such levers Dual Control Levers (DCL).

Servo Wave
Shimano Servo Wave technology optimises the travel of your brake levers. During the braking process, the brake pads are guided quickly to the brake rotor with very short lever travel. The greater part of the lever travel is reserved for the actual braking force. In this way, you can apply your braking power in a more targeted manner and use it more effectively.

One Way Bleeding
One Way Bleeding is a technique used on Shimano calipers that facilitates brake bleeding. The hose routing has been optimised so that no air bubbles remain in the brake calliper. In combination with the funnel, the brake can be bled cleanly and easily.
