Shimano GRX crankset FC-RX610-1 - find the optimum gradation for any terrain

The Shimano GRX FC-RX610-1 is a 1x12-speed crankset that scores points in gravel use with an optimal ratio of weight, efficiency and flexibility. The set-up with one chainring is less sensitive to dirt and mud and perfect for those who like it uncomplicated. In combination with a corresponding cassette, the two chainring options offer the choice between a narrower gear gradation or a wider range, so that you are prepared for any terrain. With the 38-tooth chainring and 165 mm crank length, you even have options that the more expensive FC-RX820 crankset does not offer. FC-RX610 features the more stiffness-oriented 2-piece design and the chainring is made of steel, so it is about 170 grams heavier than FC-RX820. However, the aluminium crank arms are also hollow in this design, which saves a lot of weight. The model has a specific bolt circle diameter of 110 mm. It produces a chainline of 49.7 mm and a Q-factor of 151 mm.

2-Piece Crankset
With the 2-piece designed cranks from Shimano, the right crank arm is precisely matched to the interaction with the bottom bracket. This increases the stiffness and keeps the weight low. Further spaced bearings also improve strength and contribute to more pedalling efficiency. The precision manufacturing of the bearings ensures easy installation and low maintenance. 2-Piece cranks share a 24mm axle diameter with Hollowtech II cranks, so they are also compatible with Hollowtech II bottom brackets.
