The Shimano GRX RX810 1x11 groupset - made for explorers

The Shimano GRX RX810 1x11 groupset results from a two-year close collaboration with Gravel enthusiasts from around the world. It includes a 1x crank with a 42 tooth chainring, +rear derailleur, disc brake with STI right and left shift levers, chain and cassette (Ultegra or MTB). Shimano didn't want to tell the Gravel specialists what to ride, but asked them what they wanted instead. Many unpaved paths were explored, off-road races contested, bikepacking tours undertaken, a lot of dust swallowed and mud bath galore. The result is the world's first Gravel-specific component groupset, the GRX by Shimano.

Additional Components Needed:

• The bottom bracket is not included. Shimano recommends SM-BBR60 or SM-BB72-41B Pressfit Hollowtech II.
• The RT-MT800 (140, 160 or 180 mm) brake rotor must also be ordered separately.
• For the 11-40 and 11-42 versions, an additional 1.85 mm spacer is required if the cassette is to be mounted on a road freehub. (For the 11-34 version, this spacer is supplied)
• if necessary, FM-to-FM brake adapter SM-MA-R160 D/D for 160 mm brake rotor with 140 mm FM frame or SM-MA-R160 D/D for 180 mm brake rotor with 160 mm FM frame
• The additional brake lever BL-RX812 is also available as an option. - Optional brake caliper bolts for 10/15/20/30/35 mm frame diameters are also available.
