Shimano GRX ST-RX610 STI - crisp shifting and reliable braking on off-road adventures

The mechanical-hydraulic ST-RX610 shift/brake lever from the GRX RX610 gravel series by Shimano allows you to shift smoothly and crisply in the 2x12 or 1x12-speed system. At the same time, it weighs only about 20 grams more than the more expensive ST-RX820. It also impresses with reliable braking control on changing surfaces, which is especially important if you are just starting out with graveling or gravel racing. The lever and grip body ergonomics have been specially adapted to the field of application. The aluminium lever has a texture to prevent slipping and its grip width can be adjusted with the help of an Allen key. ST-RX610 is supplied with a shift cable with friction-reducing Optislick coating. Please note: unlike the ST-RX820, this model has neither pressure point adjustment nor servo wave technology.

STI Dual Control
Shimano Total Integration (STI) means the combination of braking and shifting functions in one lever, which increases safety when riding. By refining the technology, it became possible to make shifting so smooth at the front and rear that they can be triggered with just one finger. Shimano calls such levers Dual Control Levers (DCL).

Servo Wave
Shimano Servo Wave technology optimises the travel of your brake levers. During the braking process, the brake pads are guided quickly to the brake rotor with very short lever travel. The greater part of the lever travel is reserved for the actual braking force. In this way, you can apply your braking power in a more targeted manner and use it more effectively.
