Shimano Optislick shifter cable - with electrically coated layer

The Shimano Optislick shifter cable has a thin, evenly electrically coated layer, which contributes to a more efficient cable routing and stands for excellent corrosion resistance. The stainless steel cable is 2100 mm long and 1.2 mm thick. Its round cross-section reduces friction.

Im Gegensatz zu teflonbeschichteten Zügen nutzt sich die Beschichtung der Optislick-Schaltzüge von Shimano so gut wie gar nicht ab. Dies bedeutet gleichbleibende Leichtgängigkeit, die wirklich sehr gut ist. Die hochwertigen und für die Qualität preiswerten Züge habe ich schon des öfteren verbaut.

Sehr gut verarbeiteter, hochwertiger Schaltzug. Mir fällt allerdings kein großer Unterschied zu einem Standard-Edelstahlzug in Punkto Leichtgängigkeit auf. Vielleicht teste ich das nächste mal einen polymerbeschichteten Schaltzug.
