Technically, they are fine. The finish wears off surprisingly fast, leaving bare metal.

But the main issue is just the concept itself. Sounds great on paper if you don't feel comfortable committing to clipless pedals and want a backup ready, but I just never used the flat side - not even on the first day.

Works and looks great on my gravel bike. Sadly my shoes squeak a little with these pedals.
