The Shimano pad retaining bolt for BR-M785 and BR-M820 is also used on the newer XT brakes BR-M8000, BR-M8020, BR-M8100 and BR-M8120. It consists of a brake pad retaining bolt and a snap ring. XT BR-T785 and Alfine BR-S700 are other compatible brake calipers.

Works way better than the splitpen, it is much easier to replace brakepads and fits on almost every Shimano brakecalliper
