The Shimano XTR RT-MT905 Brake Rotor - Ice-Tech FREEZA for 6-bolt disc brakes


The RT-MT905 is Shimano's first 6-bolt brake ritir with Ice-Tech FREEZA technology. The proven sandwich construction with aluminium core and stainless steel jacket is supplemented by a specially-coated rib structure in the aluminium, which ensures even faster heat dissipation. This means you can rely on constant braking power even in extreme use. Thanks to the surface temperature being lowered by at least 100 degrees compared to conventional stainless steel brake rotors, fading and brake noise are reduced and the service life of the brake pads is also extended. RT-MT905 was developed for XTR brake systems, but is also compatible with numerous other models from the MTB, gravel and road bike segments.

Technology:

Ice Tech FREEZA
Shimano Ice Technologies provide a fast heat dissipation at your disc brake. The brake pads are equipped with aluminium cooling fins. The brake rotor is constructed using a sandwich technique in which stainless steel encloses an aluminium core. The stainless steel on both flanks ensures long durability, the aluminium allows heat dissipation. FREEZA is the further development of the brake rotor, in which additional ribs in the aluminium provide even better heat compensation. This cooling technology creates consistently high performance and longer brake pad durability while reducing fading and brake noise.

Die RT-86 Scheibe wurde mir in 180mm am HR öfter zu warm (manchmal heiß) für mein Systemgewicht von ca. 100kg.
Mit Shimano Sinterbelägen (nach Schulbuch mößigen Einfahren) sind diese Bremsscheiben mind. um eine Klasse besser vom Temparaturmanagement. Ebenfalls top die Geräuschkulisse.

Original Shimano halt. Verbreitung auf höchstem Niveau. Optik klasse mit den schwarzen Finnen welche die Wärme sauber ableiten und es so nicht zur Überhitzung kommt.
