This Shimano road bike brake cable set includes SIL-TEC inner cables, which are characterised by an extremely low-friction surface treatment. The SIL-TEC coating process improves system performance thanks to embedded fluorine particles. This makes the cables run smoother and not as susceptible to wear. Also included is an SLR brake cable housing with a hard liner, which provides more stiffness and allows for a setup that's more in line with a typical road bike.
