Shimano has designed the SLX BR-M7120 brake calliper especially for Trail and Enduro riding. Unlike the BR-M7100, it has four pistons for particularly powerful braking on long, daring descents. Common to both brake callipers is the fast, simple connection system. Thanks to Shimano One Way Bleeding, BR-M7120 is also easy to bleed.

One Way Bleeding is a technique used on Shimano calipers that facilitates brake bleeding. The hose routing has been optimised so that no air bubbles remain in the brake calliper. In combination with the funnel, the brake can be bled cleanly and easily.
