The Shimano SLX 10-speed Chainring for the FC-M672 crank

The Shimano SLX 10-speed chainring fits FC-M672 Triple cranks, but the 22- and 30-tooth version is also compatible with a few other cranks. The chainrings have symmetrically distributed holes with a bolt circle diameter of 96 or 64 mm. They have been designed to work perfectly with the front derailleur and chain in the HyperDrive drivetrain.

The 40 tooth chainrings for Deore FC-M612/M622 and SLX FC-M7000-10 are not identical with the FC-M672.

Note to Type Designation:

The type designation (one or two characters) helps identify the compatibility of various chainrings with other chainrings. Because the larger chainrings have specially-formed teeth and upward shifting assistance, only particular smaller chainrings will match to ensure proper shifting performance. An XY chainring should only be combined with another XY chainring. This applies to all other types as well.
