Shimano Ultegra BR-R8070 Brake Caliper - More control, everywhere and at any time

The Shimano Ultegra BR-R8070 brake caliper offers road cyclists more braking control in all conditions and weather. Thanks to the flat-mount design, it integrates seamlessly into the profile of the road bike. The caliper has two ceramic pistons and has been equipped with Ice Technology for optimal heat dissipation - an effect that comes from using the right brake rotor (not included) and the organic cooling-fin brake pads supplied. In addition, the One Way Venting function enables easy, correct venting. A brake rotor adapter is supplied with the front version and bolts are included with the rear version.

One Way Bleeding
One Way Bleeding is a technique used on Shimano calipers that facilitates brake bleeding. The hose routing has been optimised so that no air bubbles remain in the brake calliper. In combination with the funnel, the brake can be bled cleanly and easily.
