Shimano Ultegra CS-6600 10-speed cassette - with youth gradation

The Shimano Ultegra CS-6600 10-speed cassette is available with special so-called " Youth" gradations available. Hyperglide (HG) technology ensures optimum, fast gear changes. Use the cassette on 8- to 10-speed road/MTB freehubs or on 11-speed road freehubs with an additional 1.85 mm spacer (not required for MTB 11-speed).

HG Cassette
Shimano Hyperglide cassettes (HG cassettes) have strategically-positioned ramps and special tooth profiles so that the chain can be completely guided directly onto the next sprocket. This prevents the chain from just touching the tips of the teeth before it actually touches down. This optimises the chain guide and enables fast, highly efficient shifting.
