The Shimano Ultegra 11-speed Chainring for the FC-6800 Crank

The Shimano Ultegra FC-6800 11-speed chainring has four asymmetrically arranged arms and a bolt circle diameter of 110 mm - uniform for all teeth gradations. Four different 2x combinations can be formed. The large chainrings (50 to 53 T) are made of an aluminium-carbon composite and have a weight-saving hollow profile (Hollowglide).

Note to Type Designation:

The type designation (one or two characters) helps identify the compatibility of various chainrings with other chainrings. Because the larger chainrings have specially-formed teeth and upward shifting assistance, only particular smaller chainrings will match to ensure proper shifting performance. An XY chainring should only be combined with another XY chainring. This applies to all other types as well.
