The Shimano XT FC-M8130-1 Crank - Stiff and lightweight design

The FC-M8130 12-speed XT crank from Shimano has a chainline that is 1.5 mm further out than the FC-M8120-1. This makes it especially suitable for frames with 157 mm over locknut dimension, but it also fits frames with 148 mm over locknut dimension. The Q-factor is slightly wider, 181 instead of 178 mm. The crank is based on a direct-mount system, which ensures a quick chainring change. Combine it with a Shimano Dynamic Chain Engagement+ chainring with a high-precision tooth profile (not included) and you get a front drivetrain of the highest efficiency and low noise that guarantees good chain retention. The stiff and light design of the FC-M8130 with its hollow-forged crank arms helps to increase fun and efficiency on any kind of trail.
