Shimano XT / SLX BB-MT801 bottom bracket for frames with BSA thread

The Shimano BB-MT801 is an aluminium centre tube bottom bracket designed to fit a 24 mm axle crankset into a frame with a BSA bearing. With the enclosed spacers, it is suitable for shell width of both 73 mm and 68 mm. Shimano recommends the BB-MT801 for the cranksets of the XT and SLX series as well as for some no-group models from the MTB range. It features a high-quality, sealed steel bearing. The bearing cups are made of anodised aluminium. In combination with a corresponding crankset, this bottom bracket and its Hollowtech II technology ensures stability and efficiency with every pedal rotation.

Ein spitzen tretlager sehr laglebig und leichtgänig nutze dieses Lager seit Jahren für mein altagsrad bei Wind und Wetter und ganze Jahr. Günstigere halten bei weitem nicht so lange durch kann es nur empfehlen, leider muss man einen Hollowtech 2 schlüssel Adapter nutzen um sie ein und auszubauen da die Lager etwas kompakter gebaut sind als zu Beispiel Deore Standard

Der Artikel selbst ist ja OK - aber:
Schön, dass Shimano "green geht" und die Anleitungen nur noch im Internet veröffentlicht. Unter der verlinkten URL finden sich jedoch nur ein paar Sicherheitshinweise, aber keinerlei Manual - und damit auch kein Anzugsdrehmoment. Aufgedruckt ist das auch nicht mehr, daher muss Youtube befragt werden. Hoffentlich ist die Info dort (40Nm) korrekt gewesen... :-(
Noch so'n Ding:
Die empfohlenen Werkzeuge TL-FC32 und TL-FC33 sind nicht lieferbar. Woanders bestellt stellte sich leider heraus, dass das 33er überhaupt nicht passt. Na, bike-components Team, vielleicht mal die Werkzeugempfehlungen überarbeiten?

Qualitativ top. Haltbarkeit klasse. Wartungsaufwand bauartbedingt minimal und einfach. Benötigt hält den Adapter für das Werkzeug infolge geringeren Durchmessers. Gibt es in Kunststoff und Metall. Ich habe beide. Das Metallwerkzeug ist empfehlenswert. Dann macht es auch Spaß, das Tretlager hin und wieder auszubauen für Reinigungszwecke. Wenn man sowas liebt.

Boîtier et roulements de qualité. Par contre, Bike Components retire l’adaptateur TL-FC25 normalement présent dans boîte pour le vendre séparément. Quelle mesquinerie !
