Shimano XTR Trail brake caliper BR-M9020 - Mono Block construction

The Shimano XTR Trail BR-M9020 brake caliper is extremely rigid thanks to its mono-body construction, making it suitable for use in aggressive Trail and Enduro riding. Ice Technology provides excellent thermal control so that braking performance can be maintained under extreme conditions. The supplied metal pads with cooling fins further enhance this effect. The painted aluminium brake caliper has two ceramic pistons and can be easily bled via One-Way Bleeding. It can be mounted at the front or the back.

One Way Bleeding is a technique used on Shimano calipers that facilitates brake bleeding. The hose routing has been optimised so that no air bubbles remain in the brake calliper. In combination with the funnel, the brake can be bled cleanly and easily.
