The Shimano ZEE FH-M640 rear hub is suitable for freeride and downhill use and is compatible with 10 x 135 mm thru-axles. It combines an anodised aluminium body, a robust steel axle, low-maintenance cup-and-cone bearings and high-quality seals to form a reliable package for beginner gravity cyclists. Added to this is the steel freehub with quick engagement. The Shimano E-Thru technology provides torsional stiffness at a reasonable weight.
