Specialized Eliminator Grid Gravity 29+ folding tyres - gripping and effective thanks to T9 and T7

The Specialized Eliminator Grid gravity 29" folding tyre for enduro and trail e-bikes is also available in a Plus version with a 2.6" tyre width. Just like its narrower counterpart, it delivers a perfect balance of speed and grip along with superior puncture protection. This can be seen in two ways: first, a special combination of two exclusive GRIPTON®compounds, namely the roll-off efficient T7 on the centre tread and the super-absorbent T9 on the tyre's shoulder. Second, outstanding puncture protection is achieved through a double-layer construction, also known as the Dual-Ply carcass. To top it off, the Eliminator Grid Gravity is also equipped with 2Bliss Ready technology, giving the rider the option to mount the tyre without an inner tube.

GRIPTON® T7
GRIPTON T7 is a variant of the tried-and-tested GRIPTON rubber compound from Specialized,
which is based on synthetic rubber and an activated silica compound. It is a trail compound with good rolling characteristics which offers plenty of grip, filters high-frequency vibrations and allows for a smooth ride. Its damping properties are an optimal combination of energy conservation and pedalling efficiency. The " T" stands for " Tread Compound," and the number 7, on a scale from 1 to 10 (the extremes 1 and 10 do not exist), indicates the degree of damping and road grip, which in this case offers a very high (but not the maximum) value.

GRIPTON® T9
GRIPTON T9 is a variation of the Specialized proven GRIPTON rubber compound based on synthetic rubber and an activated silica compound. It is a super gripping gravity compound that morphs slowly back into its starting position when deformed or impacted. The goal is to absorb every kind of vibration, so that the tyre essentially sticks to the ground. The " T" stands for " Tread Compound," and the number 9, on a scale from 1 to 10 (the extremes values 1 and 10 do not exist), indicates the degree of damping and road grip, which in this case offers the highest possible value.
