The Specialized Hillbilly Grid Gravity T9 folding tyre for 27.5" front wheels offers mountain bikers a full grip on soft, loose surfaces and features specially-developed puncture protection. Its tread profile is based on the highly damping GRIPTON T9® compound, which provides perfect vibration absorption and thus maximises grip on the trail. Add to this its robust dual-ply carcass, a double-layer construction which not only optimises handling but also makes the tyre much more resistant to damage. With 2Bliss Ready components, this tyre can also function without an inner tube.

GRIPTON® T9
GRIPTON T9 is a variation of the Specialized proven GRIPTON rubber compound based on synthetic rubber and an activated silica compound. It is a super gripping gravity compound that morphs slowly back into its starting position when deformed or impacted. The goal is to absorb every kind of vibration, so that the tyre essentially sticks to the ground. The " T" stands for " Tread Compound," and the number 9, on a scale from 1 to 10 (the extremes values 1 and 10 do not exist), indicates the degree of damping and road grip, which in this case offers the highest possible value.
