The Slaughter Grid Trail tyre by Specialized - fast and grippy

The Specialized Slaughter Grid Trail 29" folding tyre convinces in during Freeride and All Mountain use with both speed as well as grip when cornering. In the centre, its tread pattern is slightly flatter to provide high speed, while the sides have larger lugs and pronounced edges which are responsible for traction and bite. The grippy, rolling efficient GRIPTON® compound makes its own contribution. The tyre can also be driven without an inner tube due to the 2Bliss Ready carcass. Specialized recommends its use on the rear wheel, but the Slaughter Grid also cuts a fine figure at the front.

As the name suggests, this compound provides an outstanding amount of traction and handling in all weather conditions, but this is not its only advantage. It also dampens vibrations, rolls very well and saves weight. GRIPTON tyres are manufactured and tested in a factory operated by Specialized in Vietnam.
