Rein von den Fahreigenschaften betrachtet deutlich besser als alles was Maxxis oder Schwalbe bis jetzt 2017 anbietet. Habe Maxxis Minion,High Roller un Schwalbe NN Apex in 2,8 getestet. Ohne Procore waren die alle nicht stabil genug gegen Durchschläge am Hinterrad bei mein E Bike. Auch bei Durchstichen sowie Seitenstabilität ist der Surly deutlich überlegen. Der Grip ist egal ob trocken oder nass eine andere Dimension. Dämpfung ein Traum. Habe noch nie vorher in 27 Jahren auf dem Bike einen solchen Reifen gefahren. Fahre ihn vorne und hinten. Beim E Bike kein Problem. Bei einen normalen würde ich ihn wahrscheinlich nur vorne fahren. Der Preis ist schon sehrschmerzhaft aber zur Zeit gibt es für aggressives Trailbiken, Enduro keine Alternative bei Plusreifen. Bau auf einer 35mm Innensweite DT Felge ungefähr wir ein 2,8 Schwalbe Nobby Nic aber breiter als 2,8er Maxxis. Der Reifen ist der Hammer. Schon fast unfähr...Dämft top, knickt nix weg, sehr gute gegen Pannen....
