The THM-Carbones Mandibula seatpost, the result of two years of development, is a very light and very comfortable carbon seatpost that is divided into two areas: the comfort zone and the power zone. The latter is a super stiff, lightweight structure that hardly flexes, no matter how far it protrudes from the frame. The comfort zone offers you the right amount of comfort without going overboard. In this way, THM solves the problem of conventional comfort seatposts, namely that they become more flexible the further they protrude from the seat tube - a feature that's particularly annoying for taller and heavier riders.
Thanks to the special carbon fibre layering, the saddle always remains level regardless of the flex and even at higher cadence, on rough ground or on cobblestones, there are no unwanted vibrations. This reduces fatigue and allows you to ride longer and more comfortably. In addition, the compact design makes the seatpost compatible with small frames or frames with a straight top tube.
Of course, thanks to its manufacturing process and structural details such as the clamping mechanism, the Mandibula is also very light (approx. 160 g for 350 mm) - lighter than most seatposts without a comfort function. On the other hand, it can withstand loads of up to 110 kg - an impressive testimony to outstanding engineering!
