The THM-Carbones Tibia stem is based on an ideal carbon fibre selection that follows the principle of lowest stress differences. This ensures high stiffness values, but offers enough flexibility to dampen bumpy roads. Tibia is exceptionally lightweight and has a streamlined exterior inspired by natural models. In this way, the stem provides an optimal connection between the handlebars and the front wheel. Titanium clamping hardware causes the carbon fibres to run from one end to the other without being damaged. The clamping plate is also made of carbon with sophisticated, very small structural elements. The high quality of the carbon finish comes with a light polish and does not require painting, which saves a few grams.
