The VAUDE AM Moab Mid STX is a waterproof high-cut flat pedal shoe made of high-quality and robust Terracare leather and equipped with a 100% recycled membrane. The environmentally friendly Sympatex® membrane protects against moisture and dirt and ensures a pleasant climate for feet thanks to its high breathability. The high-cut upper and conventional lacing combined with a hook & loop fastening closure ensure perfect support. The perfect fit is rounded off with the anatomically pre-shaped Ortholite® insole with harder PU foam in the pedal area, resulting in optimal power transfer. Reinforced toe and heel caps offer further protection from impacts and stones. For added comfort and protection, an additional cushioning element is incorporated into the EVA midsole in the heel area. The newly-developed AM Flat sole takes you to a new level in biking and hiking. The stepped hexagon profile in the pedal area in combination with the soft SUPtraction® Flat rubber compound ensures perfect grip on the pedal and lots of riding fun. In the toe and heel area, the sole has a deeper profile that provides necessary grip while carrying and pushing your bike. In addition, the hexagons act like scales that wedge into the ground when walking, giving you a firm grip even in critical passages.

Sympatex is a manufacturer of environmentally-friendly, 100% waterproof (45,000 mm water column), 100% windproof and at the same time breathable membranes and laminates in Europe. The Sympatex membrane is made of recyclable polyester that won't affect your health. This makes it absolutely environmentally- as well as skin-friendly. In addition, the Sympatex membrane has been produced according to the bluesign standard, guaranteeing maximum environmental and consumer protection. This diaphragm is 100% PTFE-free.

Terracare leather:
Leather sustainably produced in Germany according to high social and ecological standards. Through the conscious use of resources such as water, chemicals and energy, terracare leather is not only manufactured in a particularly ecological way, but is also extremely low-polluting.

SUPtraction®:
The SUPTraction outsole is a technical sole from the Swiss company SUPtraction, which develops special rubber compounds. The soles are manufactured from the concept to the final product specifically for the application area of the VAUDE shoes in order to achieve the best possible result.

OrthoLite®:
OrthoLite insoles are made of open-pored polyurethane foam. They are extremely breathable, durable and prevent the formation of fungus, bacteria and odours. The EcoPlush version contains 25% organic castor oil, and the sole upper is made of 50% recycled polyester. OrthoLite insoles are machine washable.

V-flow Value:
The V-Flow value shows you the strength of the upper in combination with the midsole and outsole. V-Flow 3 are Enduro cycling shoes for demanding and technical singletracks on rocky terrain and for long stretches of bike carrying. In addition to protection and comfort, the shoes offer you perfect grip on flat pedals and good climbing properties.
