Off into the big, wide world: the Aqua Back Plus Rear Panniers by VAUDE

The waterproof rear panniers are made from robust, PVC-free tarpaulin material in a climate-neutral way and would love to go on great journeys with you. They can be adjusted to individual sizes by means of the wrap-around closure and can be closed absolutely tightly. A simple inner pocket and the welded-on outer pocket ensure clarity. The panniers are attached to the rear rack on the right and left with the QMR 2.0 system and stable back plate, are adjustable via easy-to-use twist knobs and can be removed quickly and easily. They can be locked directly to the QMR hook with a padlock. Reflective elements ensure good visibility in road traffic.

Eco Finish:
VAUDE products with Eco Finish are environmentally friendly, water-repellent and are manufactured without fluorocarbons (PFC). PFCs belong to a group of chemical compounds that are used in many outdoor products to waterproof the outer fabric. As they are not degradable, accumulate in the body and are suspected of being harmful to health, VAUDE has decided not to use PFCs at all.

PVC free:
The VAUDE seal PVC-free means that this product is manufactured completely without PVC (polyvinyl chloride). Looks like a truck tarpaulin, is just as durable and waterproof, but is made of PU (polyurethane) coated textile fabric instead of PVC. PVC often contains plasticisers (phthalates) that are suspected of being harmful to health.

My Climate:
This product is climate neutral: the emissions from materials, the manufacturing process and shipping were systematically reduced and fully offset.

Hard Back 2.0:
Hard shell bag back for VAUDE bike bags. The Hard Back 2.0 is made of sturdy plastic and is extremely impact and abrasion resistant. The heavily used edges were additionally equipped with non-slip feet. The lower guide hook is adjustable by hand and can be rotated freely through 360°. This allows the bag to be individually adapted to all pannier rack frames. The backs of the bags are symmetrical and can be fitted on either side of the bike.

QMR 2.0:
The second generation of the Quick Mount Release hook: even easier to use and lockable directly on the hook with a padlock. A minimum distance of 11 cm between the hooks is recommended for mounting.
