The Minaki Mid II STX by VAUDE are mid-high MTB shoes for winter. Thanks to BOA turn dial fasteners, you can adjust them optimally to your feet. A waterproof flap on the back of the foot prevents moisture from penetrating.

Eco Finish
VAUDE products with Eco Finish are environmentally friendly, water-repellent and are manufactured without fluorocarbons (PFC). PFCs belong to a group of chemical compounds that are used in many outdoor products to waterproof the outer fabric. As they are not degradable, accumulate in the body and are suspected of being harmful to health, VAUDE has decided not to use PFCs at all.
BOA
BOA closures offer millimetre-precise fine adjustment for a perfect fit. Lightning fast, one-hand adjustment, secure lock and quick release. They repel mud and water and are extremely light.
V-flow Value
The V-Flow value shows you the strength of the upper in combination with the midsole and outsole. V-Flow 6 are all-mountain cycling shoes for trails on grippy natural ground or consolidated gravel to unstable ground and rubble in alpine terrain. They offer you perfect fit and protection with optimal power transmission.
SympaTex®

In addition, the Sympatex membrane has been produced according to the bluesign standard, guaranteeing maximum environmental and consumer protection. This diaphragm is 100% PTFE-free.

The VAUDE seal PVC-free means that this product is manufactured completely without PVC (polyvinyl chloride). Looks like a truck tarpaulin, is just as durable and waterproof, but is made of PU (polyurethane) coated textile fabric instead of PVC. PVC often contains plasticisers (phthalates) that are suspected of being harmful to health.
SUPtraction®
The SUPTraction outsole is a technical sole from the Swiss company SUPtraction, which develops special rubber compounds. From concept to end product, the soles are manufactured by VAUDE to achieve the best possible result for their intended area of application.
Recycled Materials
VAUDE uses recycled materials, e.g. from PET bottles, to manufacture this product. This saves up to 50 % energy and on CO2 emissions as well as fossil fuels.
