VAUDE products with Eco Finish are environmentally friendly, water-repellent and are manufactured without fluorocarbons (PFC). PFCs belong to a group of chemical compounds that are used in many outdoor products to waterproof the outer fabric. As they are not degradable, accumulate in the body and are suspected of being harmful to health, VAUDE has decided not to use PFCs at all.

The SUPtraction outsole is a technical sole from the Swiss company SUPtraction, which develops special rubber compounds. From concept to end product, the soles are manufactured by VAUDE to achieve the best possible result for their intended area of application.

The SympaTex membrane is made of recyclable polyester that won't affect your health. This makes it absolutely environmentally- as well as skin-friendly. In addition, the SympaTex membrane is produced according to the bluesign standard, guaranteeing maximum environmental and consumer protection. This diaphragm is 100% PTFE-free.
