Road bike feeling with gravel performance: the Terreno Zero Folding Tyre by Vittoria

The Vittoria Terreno Zero folding tyre is best used when riding on paved surfaces or firm gravel tracks, because it has significantly less tread on the outer sides than its brothers " Terreno Dry, Wet and Mix" . You can " just let it roll" with this Terreno model. Thanks to the relatively smooth centre tread, which is inspired by the Corsa model from Vittoria, the Terreno Zero convinces with super low rolling resistance.

Features:

  • smooth centre tread for low rolling resistance
  • tread pattern becomes coarser towards the edge to ensure grip in curves
  • functionalized Graphene 2.0 compound for increased grip in wet conditions

Technology:

Graphene 2.0:
The fundamental feature of graphene is that it changes the performance of the rubber, reinforcing the innovative characteristics of Vittoria tyres. In version 2.0, the compound depends on the tyre type and its requirements to improve the desired performance. For Road tyres, this means that Graphene 2.0 significantly reduces rolling resistance and abrasion resistance. So with this rubber compound, you don't have to compromise when speed, grip, durability and wear resistance are required.

Nylon Carcass:
Nylon is a solid and durable synthetic fibre traditionally used for robust tyre casings. The synthetic fibre can be very light, but is not as supple as Corespun. Regardless of the tpi number, each specification is applied to the respective price-performance scale. And they all deliver the essential elements of Vittoria: comfort, speed and good handling.

TLR (tubeless ready):
Tyres that are marked as tubeless ready can be ridden with a compatible rim and without a tube by applying sealant to the interior. The tyre bead is suitable for both standard and tubeless rims. The aramid bead core and the unique shape of the tyre ensures an airtight seal. Ride tubeless on UST rims with Pit Stop or liquid Latex Pit Stop. Tyres without tubes offer better cornering, roll faster and are less susceptible to punctures, even at low air pressures.

Don't buy this fake "tubeless ready" for tubeless use. Sidewalls lose air with Stan's Sealant. Pressure drops from 60 psi to 27 psi in 4 hours. I'm really disappointed.
