Applying permanent coatings to WD-40: Do not apply paints / varnishes directly to surfaces sprayed with WD-40 multifunctional product. Clean the surface beforehand. The following are suitable: solution benzine, lacquer thinner, vapour degreasing or alkaline cleaning agents.
