The cut is not perfect but it gets the job done. I usually need to file away at the clipped end to level the strands and ensure a good fit to the end cap.

Very good on inner cables, very bad on outer cables, especially on road rim brake ones. It destroys the cable end. Sorry not a good tool for the description

Very nice cutter. Cuts very easily, and does not flatten the outer cables. It would be a nice touch to have a crimper in the back, but at this price, this tool already offers great value.
