Zefal Christophe Metal Toe Clips
Vintage metal pedal hooks: the Christophe Toe Clips by Zéfal
Eugène Christophe, the French cyclist born in Paris on 22 January 1885, is considered the inventor of the toe clip. In 1925 he sold his invention to Poutrait-Morin (now known as Zéfal). He was a director of this company until his death in 1970. Since then, Zéfal has been selling these legendary Christophe toe clips.
