With the bc original Kol gravel carbon fork, we offer you a full carbon all-rounder in bc's signature simple-yet-functional design. Thanks to a common axle-to-crown length and 50 mm of travel, the fork fits perfectly with many gravel frames - whether they're made of aluminium, steel or other materials - and impresses with low weight and maximum safety on the world's gravel roads. The flat-mount brake mount allows you to fit 160 or even 180 mm brake rotors, and the generous tyre clearance allows 28" tyres up to 50 mm wide. This makes you prepared for technically demanding terrain.
With the challenges of bikepacking adventures in mind, this model has been given three eyelets on the legs and two threaded inserts for pannier racks in front of the front wheel axle. In addition, a fender can be attached at two points. The fork crown is suitable for mounting a dynamo lamp. The cable routing is a no-brainer: the light cable and brake hose are simply pushed through the internal channel and reappear on the other side.
The bc original Kol features a tone-on-tone look with glossy black decals on matt black carbon. The subtle decoration on the inside reflects the contour lines of the Eifel, our favourite region to go gravel riding. The fork meets the highest quality standards and has passed Zedler Institute tests at the Advanced Plus level, including a steerer tube test. A T25 tool for brake rotors, bottle cage bolts and other hardware is integrated in the included thru-axle. Incidentally, the name " Kol" is derived from the Middle High German word " kol" , also known as " carbon" , which refers to the fork's carbon fibre material.
