The Disco is one of the few racks that can be mounted without accessories on bikes with disc brakes. The frame of the Disco rack grips the brake at the rear. This keeps it narrow in the width of the foot, but it does not lose stability.

Looks nice, works with normal bikes but also with the Surly Straggler!
I mounted the 26" version on my 28" straggler in the holes at the end of the dropouts and it fits nicely. Clearance is a bit tight around the fender at the top but I like tight clearance.

Sehr gut, genau wie eigentlich alles von Tubus.
Und im Endeffekt auch preiswert infolge der langen Lebensdauer (ich habe noch keinen ausmustern muessen, meine ersten stammen aus den 1990er Jahren).

Die Montage kann auch ueber Anloetoesen erfolgen. Die Verwendung des mitgelieferten Spezial-Schnellspanners ist also nur noetig, wenn man wirklich garnix am Rahmen dran hat.

Schade dass es vom Disco (noch?) keine Edelstahl-Version gibt.
Diese hat den Vorteil, dass man sich wegen abgescheuerter Stellen (Packtascheneinhaengung) keine Sorgen machen muss - Bei 'Standard' muss man da mal gelegentlich drueberlackieren.
Wenn eine solche rauskommt, dann mache ich ein Upgrade.
