Die Schellen kamen schon rundgebogen, ich dachte es sind nur Blechstreifen die selbst zu biegen sind. Wäre mir lieber gewesen, da ich die Schellen für Vierkantstreben benötige.

Buena calidad, permiten un anclaje muy firme del portabultos a las vainas traseras de la bicicleta. Para proteger el cuadro se puede colocar alguna goma (un trozo de cámara de aire) entre las abrazaderas y las vainas, pero ojo, de esa manera puede ser necesario un diámetro superior.

It gave some extra years to my commuter-tourer-mtb aluminum bike. After a lot of abbuse, one of the rack mounts went stripped, and these adapters saved the day. It is actually firmer than mounting the rack directly to the frame in my opinion, as it is flat and it is made of steel. I don't know if it scratches the paint, but I would not care, as my intention is to leave it permanently. Unless it was a carbon frame that could be structurally damaged. No signs of rust yet (4 years), and not only for Tubus racks, of course.

Nach langem Rätseln habe ich dann endlich verstanden, wie diese Teile montiert werden sollen: ich soll sie vorher rundbiegen! Bei der Lieferung war diese Arbeit aber schon erledigt. Also ist die Abbildung etwas irreführend. Waren leider zu groß bestellt, also umtauschen und auf ein Neues! Sehen ok aus.

Passt, wenn man sich vorher bei ovalen Streben auf der Herstellerseite die Bedienungs-/ Montageanleitung und die Tipps zum Ausmessen der Größe ansieht. Hilfreich.

Effective, but should come with some protection to prevent scratching of the frame. Measure twice, buy once.
